Healthcare Security

Our healthcare security services include training staff to engage with patients during their 1:1 supervision.

1:1 Supervision Services

  • Staff are educated about the specific needs and conditions of the residents they will be supervising. This includes knowledge of medical conditions, cognitive impairments, behavioral issues, and emotional well-being.
  • Staff are trained to communicate clearly and empathetically with residents. This includes active listening, using non-verbal cues, and adapting communication to the resident's level of understanding.
  • Training emphasizes the importance of building trust and rapport with residents. Staff are taught to approach residents with respect and dignity, creating an environment where residents feel safe and valued.
  • Staff is trained to provide care that is centered around the resident's individual needs and preferences. This may involve understanding their daily routines, likes and dislikes, and personal history.

Conflict Resolution and De-escalation:

  • The staff is trained in techniques for resolving conflicts and de-escalating situations where a resident becomes agitated or upset. Staff are taught how to respond calmly and effectively to challenging behaviors.

Observation and Reporting:

  • Staff is trained to observe and report any changes in the resident's condition or behavior. This includes recognizing signs of distress, pain, or discomfort and promptly informing appropriate healthcare professionals.

  • Our staff is educated in maintaining the privacy and dignity of residents. This includes ensuring that residents are appropriately dressed, addressing them by their preferred names, and respecting their personal space.

Safety Measures:

  • Our Staff follows safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of both them and the residents. This may include techniques for transferring and assisting residents with mobility.

Activities and Engagement:

  • Our Staff is well-trained in strategies for engaging residents in meaningful activities, which promote their cognitive and emotional well-being. This may include games, conversation, or reminiscence therapy.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

  • Staff are trained to maintain accurate and detailed records of their interactions with residents, including any care provided, changes in condition, or notable incidents.
